We are delighted to announce that we have agreed a new partnership with Irish sportswear manufacturer O’Neills ahead of the 2020/21 season.
O’Neills, the choice of champions, will be the official kit supplier to the club and is a brand rich in heritage, renowned for being the largest sportswear manufacturing company in Ireland since being founded in 1918.
It is already a market leader in teamwear for the Gaelic football, rugby union, rugby league and hurling markets, and O’Neills is now starting to make a name for itself in the English football market supplying playing kit and leisurewear to the likes of Wycombe Wanderers, Hartlepool United and a growing number of other non-league and grassroots clubs.
O’Neills manufactures from its own fabrics allowing it to specially design garments to meet the short delivery dates dictated by the market and it is this process that it is using to create our men’s first team’s and reserves’ new home, away, and goalkeeping kits.
In addition, O’Neills is also developing an expanding range of stylish Pilks-branded training and leisurewear, all of which will be available via our new online club shop being established in partnership with O’Neills and which is due to go live within the next month.
George Kemp, O’Neills UK Sales Executive North, said: “O’Neills is delighted to welcome Pilkington FC into a new partnership. Both parties have a long and successful history, are ambitious and progressive, and are passionate about offering the best possible service to our supporters. We are very much looking forward to working with Pilks as they continue their exciting non-league journey.”
Pilks’ chairman, Jim Woodyer added: “This is a really exciting and innovative partnership for our football club and I’m sure our supporters are going to love the new and exciting designs across our replica playing, training and leisurewear ranges. Whilst perhaps currently better known locally within rugby league circles, O’Neills is a great brand which now has a growing presence within the football market and we are looking forward to working with them.”
