Our ladies team began for the 2017/18 season. The first training session had 5 players and the team has gradually grown over the course of the last five years.
The team has finished in the top 5 every season and the highest table position has been 2nd in the league and in 2018 we were the winners of a local tournament in Southport. We pride ourselves on developing people as well as players and thus the several members of our team have been supported to complete football courses which include:
One of our players has recently attained a football scholarship in Canada and for the 2021/22 season we have circa 20 players registered for the club.
We currently compete in the Liverpool County FA Women's League - Division One. We are looking to develop the squad and have an ambition to compete in the FA Regional Leagues within the next few seasons.
We welcome new faces on and off the field to join our incredible football team. If you are aged 18 or over and want to come and give it a go then you they are more than welcome to join us. We train every Wednesday from 8pm-9.30pm at Ruskin Sports Centre. We have a great team ethos amongst the squad and management team and it's a great way to keep fit and make new friends.
We have an excellent set up which consists of 3G pitch with stand, dedicated training sessions and a dedicated, motivated committee who arrange the clubs finances, funding, sponsorship and social events.
